I started a new job in a call centre which sounded like a brilliant place to work at my interview; however after starting the job I quickly realised that this was not the case! It was unfriendly, my colleagues were unwelcoming and rude, generally it was a horrible place to work. I went to register at different job agencies and found them to be most unhelpful as I didn’t have an appointment, I walked in to my last job agency with the same expectations from the previous one’s however I was greeted by very friendly and bubbly staff that made me a cup of tea and spoke to me while I was waiting to be seen. This agency was right4staff, I signed up with them and had a chat with Justine, after speaking to Justine I felt so much better about my job prospects and generally felt like Justine wanted to help me.
I had my interview and started the job on the following Monday, the following Monday was only 5 days after I had initially signed up with the guys at right4staff, Justine had found me a job within 2 days of me going to see her and I never thought I would actually be able to say that….. I have been looking for work for several months, mainly searching on the internet. Almost every job seems to be offered through a different employment agency. My experience of these agencies ranges from poor to reasonable with many seeming to be more concerned with getting you on their books than actually finding you a suitable position.
I saw one job advertised on a Friday and once again applied online. The agency concerned was right4staff and they rang me within an hour of sending in my application. Justine explained the job and asked me some details about my work experience. Justine then said I would need to visit their office to register which I did the following Tuesday. After filling in the various forms Justine said she had already been in touch with the company then phoned them and confirmed an interview for the next day. I went for the interview and thought it went quite well. Justine phoned me on Friday night to say the company had offered me the position. I start next week. One week from seeing the job advertised to getting it is brilliant. Justine was in touch before and after the interview and has rung me several times to enquire if I had any questions or concerns. This is by far the best experience I have had with any employment agency, the level of feedback and contact I have had is better than any other I have used and all the staff at right4staff were friendly and professional. I would recommend them without hesitation.

In my experience, many agencies struggle to find the right match and focus on simply getting the candidate back into work without truly understanding what the candidate wants, naturally the agency is in the business of finding vacancies and filling them as accurately as possible but this seems to go out of the window somewhat when targets need to be met and the pressure is on.
